Newly formed Bundaberg Regional Council chooses RecFind-Corporate as its EDRM solution Bundaberg City, Queensland - March 5, 2008 Bundaberg Regional Council, Queensland has chosen Knowledgeone Corporation’s RecFind-Corporate as its corporate electronic document and records management solution (EDRM). In December 2007, the Queensland Government announced a new legislation where local government areas must amalgamate and centralize their use of technology applications. Newly formed Bundaberg Regional Council, incorporating Burnett, Isis, Kolan and Bundaberg City Shire Councils chose RecFind Corporate over many EDRM products as its corporate records management solution. Mike Lye, Interim Manager Administration at Bundaberg Regional Council, said, “with the merger of the Kolan, Isis, Bundaberg and Burnett Shire Councils to form the Bundaberg Regional Council, the committee selected Knowledgeone Corporation’s RecFind Corporate as the Records Management system following the local government elections on 15th March 2008” Before the announcement, Knowledgeone Corporation’s RecFind Corporate Software Suite had been operating successfully at both Burnett and Kolan Shires for over 10 years. “Two of the four Shire Councils to be merged, have used RecFind Corporate for many years and it was considered that the implementation of a proven solution would minimize the risk of introducing new systems plus existing internal resources could be utilized for in house training and processing,” said Lye. Mr Lye emphasized that Knowledgeone Corporation’s trainer/consultant Gregory Warrilow played a valuable role in assisting with the new system set up and training of staff. Knowledgeone’s RecFind Corporate will be rolled out and implemented into Bundaberg Regional Council from mid March 2008. About Bundaberg Regional Council Bundaberg Regional Council is a proposed Local Government Area in Queensland, Australia. The area will be created in March 2008. The new Council, located in the Wide Bay region of Queensland, will contain the entire area of four existing Local Government Areas: Bundaberg City Council, Burnett Shire Council, Isis Shire Council and Kolan Shire Council.
