Knowledgeone Solves the Integration
Problem with a Single .NET Application
Run multiple applications concurrently with a single user
interface and a single relational database
Sydney, February 26, 2007: Knowledgeone Corporation today
announced and shipped the latest update to their new application
suite, Knowledgeone K1, Version 1.5. Knowledgeone
K1 is a new genre of software application, a multilingual,
.NET generic application solution that allows you to store all
sources of information (documents, emails, images, tacit
knowledge) in one database and to process multiple applications
simultaneously with its pre-configured data models, e.g., Asset
Management, HR Management, CRM and Records Management, to name a
few.
This release also sees the introduction of two new ‘Plug-in’
products to Knowledgeone K1, GEM K1 and
RecCapture K1. Both GEM K1 and RecCapture
K1 incorporate our new server-centric (nothing to install
on the workstation), rules-driven (they operate as expert
systems) and fully-automatic (there is nothing for end-users to
do) document management paradigm – GEM K1 for emails
and RecCapture K1 for all other types of electronic
documents. CEO of Knowledgeone Corporation, Frank McKenna

roll-out in days rather than the months or years normally
required for traditional client-centric solutions. Products of
this type are the future of all EDRMS solutions”.
For the IT/IS Managers we are pleased to report that this
version has been tested and certified against .NET Framework 2.0
and SQL Server 2005.
There are also many subtle improvements throughout the product
such as an increased range of searches (including Boolean
functionality) and changes to the Tacit client to make it
smaller, faster and easier to use. Tacit K1 allows
you to capture, index and manage all tacit knowledge within your
enterprise.
