RecFind 6 Version 2.6, Pre-Release Feature Preview |
RecFind 6 version 2.6 is now 'frozen' and in final testing. We plan to release it for download in February, 2014 (or earlier if the testing program is completed earlier).
RecFind 6 version 2.6 is a significant release with many man years of research & development involved.
Every component has been improved and every component has been tested and certified against the latest releases of Windows, Office, SharePoint and SQL Server.
The most significant investment has been on the web client as you tell us that this is the way forward for your application processing needs. You have told us many times and in many ways that you want a zero footprint and zero maintenance application and the RecFind 6 web client is our response to that requirement.
The other changes, that should be of interest to most of you, are to the RecFind 6 Mini-API. You have asked to be able to modify records via the Mini-API link and you have asked for 'Public' access (without logging in) and we have responded to both requests in 2.6.
We have also listened to your requests for more control over the RecFind 6 administrator functions in the DRM. The new DRM provides you with the ability to configure multiple levels of administrator.
